Laser Tattoo removal as the name suggests uses highly concentrated beams of light or laser to remove pigment that is used in tattooing. The laser breaks the pigments of ink. Black ink is easiest to remove as it reacts nicely to the laser rays. Other colour pigments may require more sessions than normal black pigments. The number of sessions required also depends on the size, colour and age of tattoo. The procedure is done under topical anesthesia. Topical moisturizer and sunscreens are advisable to protect skin from further sun exposure.
